Reading Queer a rather unique Miami based organization that was formed to preserve & promote queer literary culture in South Florida, has a new Event in their calendar that caught queerguru’s eye.
“Queer (Dis)Pleasure” is a writing workshop with with E. Parker Phillips, a teacher, writer and performer and will be using equipment from the BDSM & Fetish Studio in Miami that Parker Phillips owns. As well as reading poems from the queer spectrum, and discussing techniques that poets use to say something queer, participants will be encouraged to write their own pieces too.
