queerguru was peddling away on our office bike down Ocean Drive the other day taking in the rays when we were overtaken by this rather stunning turquoise blue vintage car (PLEASE do not ask us to name the make or model!). Now in Miami Beach we are used to seeing all things fabulous, but this one had a very neat difference. It came with a chauffeur/guide who were giving the couple in the back a private tour of South Beach. Evidently something they have been doing on a daily basis for the past two years……who knew!
The company that operate the tour is appropriately called http://www.antiquecarcitytour.com/ and they told queerguru that also offer other tours that include Wynwood and Little Havana, all of which have got them some rave reviews on Tripadvisor They are not the cheapest option to seeing our city BUT they certainly are the most stylish, and after all in South Beach that counts for a lot. One word of caution though, it’s best to book ahead as they have one car and demand is high.
Now I’ve seen them glide down the beachfront, the queerguru office bike will never ever feel quite so glamourus after all.
