Two of queerguru’s favorite superstar drag queens are heading to Fort Lauderdale in the next few weeks to perform in their own spectacular shows.
First up on March 17th 2017 at the Sunshine Cathedral is Miss Coco Peru in A Gentle Reminder Coco’s Guide to a Somewhat Happy Life. When we spoke to the sharp and sassy Miss Coco recently she told us that ever since becoming a YouTube sensation she has been inundated with emails from people of all ages asking her the same question, “Coco, what is the secret to a happy life?” So, being the giver that she is, Coco wrote this new show where, through story and song, she shares with her audience a step by step guide that leaves you prepared to enter the world again ready to create your very own “somewhat” happy life. The incomparable and hysterically funny Miss Dina Martina will be invading the Amaturo Theater at Broward Center on Tuesday April 11th 2017 @ 8pm. Miss Martina has described herself as a tragic singer, horrible dancer and surreal raconteur, and trust queerguru who has seen her show every summer in P Town for years, she is all of those and so much more.
