Filmmaker Chris Tipton-King wants to have us all start laughing about gay sex again. Ever since the AIDS pandemic it has almost become a very serious clinical subject perpetuated with scary data and ridiculous rumors that is makes getting ‘hard’ really hard work.
His new video series The PrEP Project sets about changing all that with his very blunt and irreverent approach to the use of Truvada as a once-daily HIV preventative for HIV-negative guys — that is, as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).
With a tongue-in-cheek narration by Eric Paul Leue, executive director of the Free Speech Coalition the 4 videos are both funny and sexy, and yet at all the same time they get over the (serious) facts that we need to know to play safe.
