Can You Really Wait until December for Respect?

 

December is when MGM will actually release RESPECT their new biopic of life of the late and great Aretha Franklin who is stunningly portrayed by Jennifer Hudson who looks like a sure bet for another Academy Award for he performance. 

RESPECT is the remarkable true story of the music icon’s journey to find her voice and follows  the rise of Aretha Franklin’s career from a child singing in her father’s church’s choir to her international superstardom, 

Joining Hudson in the movie is a star studded cast that includes Forest Whitaker, Marlon Wayans, Audra McDonald, Marc Maron, Tituss Burgess, Saycon Sengbloh, Hailey Kilgore, Skye Dakota Turner, Tate Donovan, and Mary J. Blige.

MGM have just released this teaser trailer just to what our appeitiet, and we have followed that with Hudson  at the BET Awards performing another of Franklin’s great songs Young. Gifted and Black.
