James Judd and his (very) Funny Stories

Posted on Categories queerguru.tvLabels ,

James Judd, the star of NPR’s Snap Judgement, stand-up comedian, monologist and consummate queer storyteller is back in P Town with a brand new version of his show FUNNY STORIES. His outrageously funny tales plus his infectiously wicked sense of humor and large then life personality are going to bedecked with a dazzling array of costumes which would give any drag queen a run for their money.

Prior to his 6 weeks run at Provincetown’s’ Crown and Anchor, James joined us in the Queerguru garden to give us a hint of what we can expect.

P.S. Queerguru would love you to bits if you did us one tiny favor.  Despite the fact that we have had almost 250K hits on YouTube (yeah!) they will not give us a single cent of the advertising money that they make off us until we have more subscribers.  Won’t cost you a dime,  but it will help support our site. Chris Harder : Porn To Be A Star

The multi-talented CHRIS HARDER is an actor/burlesque performer/writer …. oh yes and an adult film star too. This rather charismatic young man who also imbues a wicked sense of humor in all his work has written a One Man Show that is loosely based on his life. His performance in it has garnered him rave reviews from critics (and audiences around the country) and this week he brings the Show, directed by David Drake) to the Provincetown Theater for Two Nights Only.

Taking a break from rehearsals, he talked to Queerguru about PORN TO BE A STAR. The interview with Roger Walker-Dack was filmed by Dan Desjardins

Adam Singer : on keeping the queer in P Town

Posted on Categories queerguru.tvLabels , ,

Adam Singer opened his small flagship store ADAMS NEST in 2016 in Ptown. He describes it as politically engaged, socially conscious, and a bit naughty! Like him, it is Out, Loud and proudly Queer and committed to providing a space for the work of some of his favorite artists. We talked to him about his campaign to help keep the queer in PTown.

Christine Vachon the doyenne of indie queer (and non queer) movies

Posted on Categories queerguru.tvLabels , , ,

Christine Vachon’s Killer Films have produced some of the best indie films for decades. Known especially for her work with Todd Haynes, she has produced some of the very best queer cinema, and ‘non-queer’ ones too.

Queerguru caught up with her at the Provincetown Film Festival when we asked her about her current slate of films, and cinema today.

The interview with Roger Walker-Dack for www.queergurutv.com  was filmed by Hussein Wentz at Lands End Inn.
