Zachary Zane is a charismatic queer man who is something of a sexpert. He writes several different magazine columns about it, or otherwise (in his own words) is having a lot of really great sex.
Zane has also just written a new book, Boyslut: A Memoir and Manifesto in which he articulates that, even today, we live in a world that shames people for the sex that they have and the sexualities that they inhabit. Through the lens of his bisexuality and self-described sluttiness, he breaks down exactly how this sexual shame negatively impacts the sex and relationships in our lives, and through his personal experience, he shares how we can unlearn the harmful, entrenched messages that society imparts to us.
Queerguru caught up with this ebullient and quick-witted man to talk about his funny and fascinating story who has insured that Boyslut is a book that you will not want to put down
For the 45th Annual Carnival in Provincetown, the gay mecca on the tip of Cape Cod, they chose THE LAND OF TOYS for its theme this year . In what is fast becoming a tradition for Queerguru we invited NY Celebrity Photographer TRIXIE VAN GOGO to come to record the event in her own inimitable style
When a young Tony Maretta left Meadville, Pennsylvania and turned up in Los Angeles in the early 1990’s he was looking for the golden age of Hollywood which had long passed. So rather than just focus on acting he managed to pursue his dream and became a film historian, writer, and presenter. He not only found his passion but he also soon found success. With a packed resume that included hosting CBS Home Video’s award-winning presentations of Lucille Ball’s renowned television series, The Lucy Show: he has done several commentaries for Warner Home Video, and has been an advisor for Turner Classic Movies. One of his latest projects has been co-authoring The Marble Faun of Grey Gardens about the infamous “Marble Faun” from the celebrated 1975 documentary, Grey Gardens. Queerguru caught up with him to indulge our curiosity about his take on all the acting greats he has crossed paths with.
Alec Mapa aka America’s GayAsian Sweetheart’ dashed back from the Picket Line at Disney to talk with Queerguru about making his London Debut (and losing his English Cherry) this Fall at CRAZY COQS Club. Actor, comedian, writer, and sometime judge on Drag Race, Mapa won our hearts with his performances in Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, and Switched at Birth etc. If you have seen his Showtime TV one-man show ALEC MAPA BABY DADDY you’ll know too that Mapa is a very excited and happy husband and father (the only one who can ever call Mapa ‘daddy. without laughing is his son.) Taking with the charismatic Mapa is it impossible not to be caught up in his infectious humor …… the Brits are in for a real treat
Drew Sebastian is a man who wears many hats ….. one of which means he actually wears nothing at all. His first love was musical theater, he trained at Cordon Bleu School and became a chef to a few famous folks (think Adam Levine etc) and in the Covid Lockdown he was a much sought-after Personal Trainer …. and for many years he has been a major star of adult films. It is a career he is mighty proud of….. and quite rightly so … and one of which he shares stories about ….. some of them hilarious ….in his one-man show DAD’S CABARET that he is about to perform at the Pilgrim House in Provincetown.
Queerguru caught up with him to talk about his new life as a sexy cooner on the eve of him losing his PTown (professional ) virginity
