Different For Girls

Jacqui Lawrence has turned her hit indie novel, that was once described as ‘Armistead Maupin meets Jackie Collins‘, into a brand new 12 part webseries directed by Campbell X which will have its World Premiere at BFI Flare in London later this month.  This multi-layered lesbian drama set in West London kicks off with a real bang when Cam has to explain to her girlfriend how she got pregnant when they were ‘on a break!’ Ooops!

From there the story line expands to their friends and families who it appears all have relationship issues which makes for some funny high drama.  The show is packed with smart, sassy & sexy characters that you are either going to love , or hate, or better still even both. With a cast and crew full of recognizable talent beloved by LGBT audiences, including Rachel Shelley (The L Word) and Guinevere Turner (American Psycho, Go Fish), and look out too for queerguru’s favorite trans actor Jake Graf who plays a father of 2 with a great big strapping 6’2″ husband.

After its premiere the series will be released on the web, watch this space for details or follow Different For Girls on FB.
