Marilyn Maye : Here’s To Life

One of the highlights of the summer season in #PTown each year is the one week residency of the legendary jazz singer Marilyn Maye. She may have passed her 90th Birthday a couple of years ago but she is ageless on the stage of Provincetown Art House Theatre singing her heart out to the sold out (mostly) gay crowds.

Marti talked with Queerguru during her last engagement at #PTownsPilgrim House about both her politics and her passion for the City and why she wanted to be their very first Drag Queen Council person.

From the moment we were first bowled over with the sheer beauty of MATTHEW RICHARDSON’ new performance piece HALLELUJAH we knew that we had to find out the story behind it. Richardson, a former Cirque Du Soleil star is working on a project of CIRCUS QUEER/ART pieces which he explained to QUEERGURU when we tracked him down in Montreal are to to celebrate the beauty within our community, challenge social norms and start conversations.
