Gasping for Gaga for her performance that has real Oscar potential

As we suffer from S.A.D.(Seasonal Affective Disorder) we never look forward to the cold weather that Fall ushers in, but we have just found something that will warm the cockles of our hearts and so much more.  Move over La Streisand, as Lady Gaga is about to give us the definite revival of the classic Hollywood story A Star is Born.

This new movie stars four-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper (American Hustle) who also helms the drama, marking his directorial debut with the multiple award-winning, Oscar-nominated music superstar Lady Gaga, in her first leading role in a major motion picture.

In a script that Cooper co-wrote with Eric Roth and Will Fetters that has a new take on the tragic love story, Cooper plays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers—and falls in love with—struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer… until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

Gaga performs original songs in the film all recorded live which she wrote with Cooper and a handful of artists, including Lukas Nelson, Jason Isbell, and Mark Ronson.

Here’s the first trailer for the movie that Warners Brothers will release worldwide on October 5th, 2018 ……..we suggest you turn up the sound really loud!
