M & S put their own spin on LGBT

The leading English supermarket M & S have put their own spin on LGBT.  To celebrate Pride they have introduced a new sandwich with Lettuce, Guacamole, Bacon and Tomato  to  raise money for the Albert Kennedy Trust, a charity dedicated to helping homeless LGBT+ youth.  They have already donated £10,000 to the charity, and will be making a further £1,000 donation to another charity called BeLong to Youth Services in Ireland.

We thought this was really very good news, but not everyone on social media seemed to agree with negative comments about the price, the fact that it wasn’t suitable ……and had too much salt.

Sometimes our own community our in real danger of shooting ourselves in the foot.

The Albert Kennedy Trust replied to some of the negativity and said: “akt is proud have the support of brands like marks and spencer, as without it, we couldn’t do what we do.
