Real life Boyfriends Ben Levi Ross and Taylor Trensch have both played in the Tony Award winning musical Dear Evan Hansen – on tour and on Broadway respectively, in addition to playing opposite each other on Broadway (with Ross as Jared.)
So, in honor of Valentine’s Day, the show released a special duet version of ‘Only Us” sung by this very cute (and talented) couple. In the show this is sung by Evan and Zoe, but here the two men sing the love ballad by Tony winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul to each other.
The video showcases a new arrangement of the song by the show’s Tony– and Grammy-winning orchestrator Alex Lacamoire and features pianist Austin Cook, guitarist Matt Sangiovanni, bassist Matt Rubano, and violinist Mona Tian.
