Sitges on the coast of Spain (and only a stone’s throw from Barcelona) hosts one of the largest and best Gay Bear Events in Europe that starts in the first week in September. There are all manner of bears, admirers, chasers and muscle bears that pack the city each year. Their is an actual “Bear Village” which is located on the ‘paseo’, but the bears are everywhere – Sitges is transformed into a bear heaven for the 12+ days.
There are parties and events in a very packed agenda held throughout the entire village by the beach with shows, dj’s and even a Mr Bear Sitges competition.
