The legendary Brooklyn-born photographer Stanley Stellar, who had been a contemporary of Robert Mapplethorpe, is about to publish a new magnificent epic book of his work that may be his finest yet. He has been chronicling the continual gay scene in N.Y. for the past 50 years, and INTO THE LIGHT is a fascinating history of the New York Pride Parade from the 1970’s until now.
