The Drakes are a Brit group of butches, transmen and masculine-identified people who joined together in London in the spirit of masculine solidarity in early 2012. They are about to set out on another tour around the UK performing The Butch Monologues.
It is a powerful and often humorous collection of secret stories exploring sexuality, vulnerability and desire taken from interviews with butches, masculine women and transmen, living world-wide. Written by Laura Bridgeman and directed by Julie McNamara it has been developed and by The Drakes who perform it.
