The French have been at it for years with their Dieux du Stade Calendars which leave absolutely nothing to the imagination. Yet their naked hunks look much more like runway models than rough and tumble sportsmen.
The Naked Rugby Players calendars are made up of six gay inclusive clubs from across the UK and they are more regular blokes who drop trou to help raise money for the Balls To Cancer charity and their own Club.
Now the gay Gotham Knights Rugby Football Club are rejoining in the naked calendar business are about to launch their 2020 edition at The Industry Bar in Hell’s Kitchen on November 20th, 2019
Club President Alex Ghunger said . “While we aimed to show the beautifully diverse body types of our boys, we also were able to showcase the teams incredible personality” It’s the diversity that photographer Mike Esperanza. captured so brilliantly and sets their calendar apart
The Club itself was the idea of Scott Glaesglen and also Mark Bingham the American hero and LGBTQ icon who tragically lost his life in overthrowing the terrorists on United Airlines Flight 93. The World Gay Rugby Championships compete for The Mark Bingham Cup
