We always have Time for Tom. Especially this time of year with the launch the new Tom of Finland 2021 calendar by Peachy Kings.
Right now we need as much fun and joy as s possible and this will certainly help . It contains thirteen classic Tom illustrations featuring naked cowboys, leathermen, muscle studs, and a year’s worth of big, thick bulges.
This year was the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Touko Valio Laaksonen the creator of ‘Tom” who was acknowledged the “most influential creator of gay pornographic image’ ever. Maintaining his legacy is part of the work of the Tom of Finland Foundation that is based in ‘Tom’s old home in California.
They mount art exhibits and run painting courses but most of all continue in its efforts of educating the public as to the cultural merits of erotic art and in promoting healthier, more tolerant attitudes about sexuality.
