We have heard from Queerguru’s London team that the UK’s Channel 4 is planning to out-queer Netflix’s Queer Eye boys with a brand new series of their own.
Called DRAG SOS it’s a makeover series with a real difference, It consists of drag queens Cheddar Gorgeous, Anna Phylactic, Liquorice Black, Tete Bang and Lill driving up and down the country in their wee custom bus to make members of the public look just like themselves. Their aim is to empower their models (victims?) as they transform them to be fierce drag queens ready to throw shade
Before the Drag Queens depart the be-frocked contestants have to put on their own performance to their friends and families.
The first of the 6 episodes will be aired in the UK on 25th June and we are definitely reserving our judgment until our London crew tell us otherwise. Meanwhile here is the program trailer which we will admit did put a big grin on our faces.
