The day after Thanksgiving when most of the USA are cursing themselves for overeating an excessive turkey dinner and being quite a pig, it takes on a whole different meaning in Fort Lauderdale. For this is the day the Annual Pig Week starts in earnest, for which gay men who enjoy a bit of debauchery and kink really give thanks
It was all the idea of Chad Bush (who is as far as we know, is no relation to the Former Governor of Florida). After visiting some of the sex-centric events in Europe, he realized it was something we just didn’t have in the US: the American versions were more genre-specific, and possibly too tame?
Bush told “Gay Cities “I try to remain true to my tagline ‘All men are pigs,’ allowing people from all different segments of our population to have a space to explore their inner pig.“ He added ” I don’t use the “all men are pigs” line to presume all men are interested in the kinky life—just the men who want to come to my parties.”
