Beats Per Minute (BPM) is a big winner – again

Less than a month after it swept the boards of the  LUMIERE AWARDS  France’s equivalent to the Golden Globes, ROBIN CAMPILLO ’S masterful movie BPM BEATS PER MINUTE was the big winner at the César Awards (France’s Oscars) last night.

It picked up 6 Awards including the Best Film prize along with wins for editing, original screenplay, supporting actor, score and more. It was a well -deserved triumph for Campillo and his cast and crew and puts to shame the American Academy who failed to even give it an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Film.

BPM also won the DORIAN AWARD FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE FILM from GALECA  the Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics which queerguru is proud to be a member of.

BPM is now available to view on most global streaming platforms everywhere and you can see queerguru’s full review of the movie HERE.
