Christine Keeler the ‘model’ who single-handedly almost brought down the British Government in 1963 when she was dating the married Secretary of State for War John Profumo at the same time she was stepping out with a ‘Cultural Attache’ cum spy at the Russian Embassy , has died aged 75. Just a teenager at the time she unfairly got most of the blame for the shortcomings of the men in her life, as the late (and great) Dusty Springfield sang in this perfect song with the Pet Shop Boys at the time ‘Nothing Has Been Proved‘
