Drag Heals : these Canadians put the fun back into Drag

If you are kind of over drag queens who take themselves way too seriously and have actually forget its all about entertaining others (!), then you’ll probably love DRAG HEALS.

This very delightful and deliciously funny  Canadian TV series from Charlie David’s Border 2 Border Entertainment Group is like a breath of fresh air.

S0 here’s what happens . It’s like a boot camp for aspiring drag queens who are put through an intensive ten day workshop.  The idea is for them to develop their own acts.

To help them find their own inner drag queen stage director Tracey Erin Smith …… and  guest coach share techniques so that each of the 8 ‘trainees’ can use them with their own unique talents.

What strikes you so much is everyone is so committed to putting back the sheer joy in drag which seems to have been discarded in over-commercialised reality shows where being remotely ‘nice’ is a big NO NO!

So here is the trailer for the second series …. and the good news is that you will not have to fly to Canada to watch the Series as it is also on Amazon Prime.

The guest coaches this season include Leon Silvers, who developed drag therapy into a clinical practice, professional makeup artist Kosta MUA who helps refine and elevate the performers looks, choreographer Jeff Dimitriou who brings the moves, and community mentors Flarington King, Titus Androgynous, Beardoncé and Champagna who offer sage advice from their experience working as drag artists in Canada and around the world.

We guarantee you will soon be as hooked as we are

DRAG HEALS season 2 premieres on Friday, October 2nd
