Finally ! Same Sex Dancing on the BBC

The Theatre World UK are facing an uphill battle to get live theatre going again in London’s West End.   You can fast forward this video of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, pleading their case and then see some actual performances.

The BBC have still been dragging their heels on letting men perform with men ……on the dance floor that is. BUT their Strictly Come Dancing TV Show finally made history this year with its first same-sex partnership between Olympic boxer Nicola Adams and Katya Jones, and the BBC ballroom series continued to nail its rainbow colors to the mast on 5 December with an opening number that may just go down as the gayest thing ever seen on the show.

Saturday night’s Musicals-themed episode opened with a fierce AF tribute to 1994 Australian drag comedy film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert as the professionals danced to ‘Go West’ before bursting into a spectacular routine to the sound of CeCe Peniston’s ‘Finally’.
