Are you so over being in Lockdown on your own? Well tonight could be the start of your post-Covid 19 life if you are lesbian/bisexual or queer and want to find a British girlfriend.
The peeps at HER Social App are hosting an ONLINE SPEED DATING EVENT Tonight Friday June 5th. and its your chance to meet 10 other singles in on hour : they promise less swiping more talking. It starts at 9 pm UK Time (that’s 4 pm NY Time) so HURRY if you want to find the girl of your dreams
So HERE IS HOW IT WORKS.
You purchase a ticket HERE (it costs £5 that’s about $6.5) and , you will receive a video link for the video platform they are using for the event. Laptop/Tablet is strongly recommended for the best experience but you will be able to participate using a mobile device.
At the start of the event, you will join the link and enter the event room where your host will join and start the session.
In the main event room, you will be able to chat with all participants in the event. Once the host starts the first of 10-12 rounds, you will be prompted to join the round and will randomly match with another participant for a 1:1 five minute video date. There will be icebreaker question cards based on the round category to help facilitate conversation if needed. Once the round ends, you will re-joined the main event room.
Following the end of the event, you will be able to directly message all the attendants you had a 1:1 video date with. You can exchange information following the event to stay in contact.
