French photographer Marc Martin follows his successful US debut at New York’s prestigious Leslie Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art with his first ever one-man Exhibit in P.Town. This week to tie in with the Mates Leather Weekend his Dur Labeur show opens at one of P.Town’s newest spaces the CUSP Gallery.
Dur Labeur is a curated selection of images that explore the notion of exhibitionism and voyeurism and delve into the aspects of ourselves we try to shy away from but, ultimately, can’t resist.
In Martin’s own words “Discreet pleasures, illicit venues, a dirty imagination, all catch my attention: far away from moral, political, social, aesthetic and behavioral norms… I make no apology for it.”
All images are in very limited editions of numbered, signed and stamped pieces. Each print is on 315 grammes Baryta paper.
