Yesterday on Social Media Imaan LGBTQI The UK’s leading LGBTQ Muslim Charity announced the country’s first ever Muslim Pride Parade thanks to a Crowd Fund Campaign which raised £10,000 to underwrite the Event
The event will take place in London on Saturday, April 11, at a place to still be decided but they are confident enough to state that tickets will go on sale in two weeks time .
Imaan insist that Muslim Pride will bring together those who face homophobic, transphobic and Islamophobic abuse for being themselves. Like in too many other countries around the world Muslims who identify as LGBTQ1 have to deal even more harassment and violent attacks than others. This Event will help us all stand together as a Community supporting one another
