Elska Magazine has finally gone Down Under. It’s latest issue is from Sydney Australia one of the gayest cities in the world and it totally decimates the myth that all the men there look like bronzed buff bikinied lifeguards on Bondi Beach!
True to form Elksa’s Editor & Photographer Liam Campbell went out of his way to show us how nice and normal the local men really are. They gave him a queer and unfiltered take on how life is in the city that has the most spectacular annual MardI Gras .
Campbell told Queerguru that he had learnt that over 40% of the local population was non-white and so he looked forward to making this one of Elska’s most diverse issues. Evidently it turned out tougher than he had imagined because many of the guys he approached didn’t feel welcomed enough in the LGBTQ community to want to represent it.
That viewpoint served as an added incentive for Campbell to ensure that this issue in particular really did represent the very best of our community, Check out either the digital or the print version and you can easily see how well he succeeded
