queerguruis back in PTown, and barely a month married, we have become somewhat obsessed with the topic. So this is a trailer for three new videos that we are making over the next couple of weeks all about getting hitched in what we are calling the summer of love and marriage.
We’ll be talking to leading gay activist Evan Wolfson the founder of Freedom to Marry and about the new documentary about the behind the scenes story of how and others finally got the law changed. We’ll be reviewing a brand new movie due to be released called Do You Take This Man, and last but by no means we’ll be sitting down with Ilene Mitnick & Alli Baldwin the brains behind BridePride who are about to reveal all the exciting new plans for this summer’s biggest all-girl wedding ever .

Once in a blue moon when we are ploughing through our usual packed schedule of movies to review, we come across a wee gem that hails an extraordinary new talent that gets us more than a little excited. Discovering that this particular new find wrote, directed and starred in his first feature, but who is barely out of college, makes it all even more remarkable. Prom King, 2010 is already being hailed as one of the best new LGBT movies of 2017, and queerguru talked to its creator being hailed as the new wunderkind : Christopher Schaap. He is an old-fashion romantic in a young soul.

The Hollywood actress and singer Lainie Kazan is making tracks to Provincetown where she is not just hosting an intimate Dinner at The Red Inn on May 19th 2017, but also performing in a Concert as part of a special Preview Weekend for P.I.F.F. There will also be special screenings of two of Lainie’s most famous movies as part of this Fundraising Event for the Film Festival.
